How long will Curtis Jones be out? More issues for Klopp?
Anfield is doubted by Jones
Things are going really well at Anfield because the team is winning and maintaining a high standard. Many players are receiving second chances to establish their worthiness of a starting eleven spot, and internal competition keeps the team’s standard high while undervaluing certain players.
Curtis Jones is one player who has been performing exceptionally well for the Reds this season. He has shown great adaptability and his level of play is only going to rise. Although it appeared that Jones had a low level the previous season, this seems to be the past, and Curtis is now competing for a spot in Jürgen Klopp’s starting lineup.
In addition to covering for players with physical issues or who have been sent off, Jones has proven to be a terrific asset to the team. However, the 22-year-old was unable to play against Luton, and a few days prior to the match, Jones experienced some minor discomfort, which raised concerns at Liverpool and prevented Curtis from playing.
Since it’s a minor injury, Jones should be able to recover quickly and shouldn’t have any major problems. He might only miss the Europa League match when the Reds travel to France to play Toulouse, but he should be able to attend the team’s next Premier League match against Brentford.
At Anfield, every second matters.
Since there is intense competition among the players in the club, every game and moment is crucial for the players to establish themselves as starters. Additionally, due to the exceptional calibre of players in midfield, Curtis’ injury may have an impact on his ability to establish himself as a starter in Klopp’s lineup.
