The brilliant midfielder from Spain, Thiago Alcántara, is still waiting to play for Liverpool. His final game as a member of the “reds” was in April of last year, against West Ham.Fans and the squad itself are ready for him to return after he sustained a hip ailment that has kept him sidelined and requiring surgery.
The manager of Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp, has stated that he would want to have Thiago, but he has also made it apparent that he needs time to heal. Klopp said during a press conference recently that the “Thiago thing is an ongoing process.” Although we can’t rush him, we hope he’ll be back, maybe in the early part of next year.”
Under Klopp, other midfielders including Ryan Gravenberch, Dominique Szoboszlai, and Alexis Mac Allister have been adjusting to the team and accumulating playing time. A player of Thiago Alcántara’s calibre would always be a benefit to the team, regardless of how he performed.
Thiago currently leads a depressing life.
Since that June of 2024 is when Thiago’s contract with Liverpool expires, it might be a pivotal year for him. The gifted midfielder’s future is questionable at age 32, especially in light of his history of injuries. In addition, there has been conjecture over the lure of alternative locations, including Saudi football, during the most recent transfer window.
