This Sunday, Liverpool is favoured to win the Premier League for the third time in a row.
The Reds have now won back-to-back games after going two games without a win, defeating Nottingham Forest and Everton.
This Sunday, Liverpool will be strong favourites to complete a hat-trick when they play Luton Town. Additionally, former England custodian David Seaman claims they will easily accomplish it in an interview on his podcast, Seaman Says.
When asked to forecast the score, the 60-year-old said, “I’m going to say 3-0 Liverpool.” We’ll take that!
Liverpool looking to defeat Luton.
Liverpool last visited Kenilworth Road to play Luton quite some time ago.
Many Reds supporters will recall that, in the mid-2000s, Liverpool was actually drawn twice in three seasons to play the Hatters in the FA Cup.
The first occurred in 2006 while the Reds were in route to winning the trophy. The most memorable moment of an amazing cup match was Xabi Alonso’s strike from his own half as Liverpool won 5-3 at Kenilworth Road.
Then, in 2008, Rafael Benitez’s team returned and could only manage a road draw of 1-1. The Reds then dominated the replay at Anfield, winning 5-0.
Up until this past Sunday, almost 16 years have passed between the two clubs’ last meeting.
Liverpool is almost certain to win because Luton has only triumphed in one of their ten Premier League games thus far.

However, over the previous year, Liverpool has struggled away from home against the league’s lowest teams.
The Reds’ away losses to Bournemouth and Forest in the previous season will most likely serve as motivation for the Hatters.
Nonetheless, Liverpool in 2023–2024 appears to be a different animal than in 2022–2023. Considering everything, Luton should have a challenging day at work.
Nevertheless, in the Premier League, nothing is certain. Any day of the week, we’d prefer a breezy 3-0, but you never know.
