Which Liverpool player, Alexis Mac Allister, is now very close to, according to Jurgen Klopp
The developing friendship between Darwin Nunez and Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool has been described by Jurgen Klopp.
Since Mac Allister’s arrival from Brighton in the summer, the two South Americans have become close.
Additionally, Klopp mentioned in his morning pre-Luton Town press conference that the Argentinian has been assisting his Uruguayan teammate in understanding English instructions.
The Liverpool manager said, “We have an extra on-field player, so far it was always Ali [Alisson], the translator [for Nunez] if you want.” “But now we have Macca, who is a really intelligent football player and they get along really well.” Thus, Macca tells him whenever I forget to tell him something.
“When midfielders get the ball, strikers need to know where to go, and that obviously depends on the midfielders. That’s the stuff you talk to players about. The players also discuss it among themselves, and Macca is very useful.
“You can see that Lucho’s [Luis Diaz] English is improving and that they are very close.”
Mac Allister is making pals in Liverpool
Ever before Mac Allister joined this summer, it has been evident that Klopp is a huge admirer of the World Cup victor.
That should go without saying in many respects because, after all, he deliberately signed him to the team.
However, it seems a bit more than that. Like Jurgen’s bond with Adam Lallana, the manager seems to truly value Mac Allister’s football skills and emotional intelligence.
The Argentina international has already told the tale of how, after the September international break, when he played him on the back it, and his teammates teased him of being “Klopp’s son.”

You can also tell how much Jurgen values having Mac Allister at the club, even though it’s early.
Naturally, it also helps that Nunez can get clarity from the 24-year-old. Darwin doesn’t have the best understanding of Klopp’s orders, but at least he now has someone who can do it completely in his place.
Obviously, the fact that he and Mac Allister are tight will also be helpful. And maybe Nunez’s stellar play since Alexis joined the team isn’t a coincidence.
That relationship will only strengthen with time. I hope we get to witness their success together at Liverpool for a very long time.
