MANILA, Philippines – Girl group LE SSERAFIM has been making waves in the K-pop music and basketball world as guests of NBA team LA Lakers.
The quintet was at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday, November 1 to watch the Lakers vs.
Clippers.
Before appearing at the game, fans of FEARNOT – or LE SSERAFIM – knew about a potential collaboration between the women’s group and the basketball team.
The speculation arose from Yunjin’s Instagram post featuring a personalized Lakers jersey with the members’ names and selected numbers.
True to the group’s latest single “Perfect Night,” the evening seemed perfect for LE SSERAFIM and LA Lakers fans.
The Laker Girls performed their girl group song “ANTIFRAGILE,” while Lakers fans watched their team break an 11-game losing streak against the LA Clippers.
Fans were also excited to see the interaction between LE SSERAFIM and the team’s key players.
The girls met Magic Johnson, the basketball team’s most successful point guard.
Fans were quick to point out the height difference between the player and the girl group members in a fun way.
The match against the Lakers was just one of many stops on the girl group’s journey to the United States.
LE SSERAFIM flew to the United States to promote their digital single “Perfect Night” as part of their collaboration with the video game Overwatch 2.
Their promotions include a US television debut on the Today with Hoda & Jenna show and a featured spot for the Grammy Awards’ Global Spin Live.
THE SSERAFIM is a group of 5 girls including members Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae.
Girl group HYBE is best known for the songs “FEARLESS” and “ANTIFRAGILE”.
