Mohamed Salah, an attacker for Liverpool who is once again demonstrating his skills for the Reds, has received praise from Jermain Defoe for his form this season.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, the former Tottenham player praised the £34 million winger following yet another outstanding display against Nottingham Forest this past weekend.
With ten games played, Salah increased his season total to eight goals and four assists. Liverpool is currently comfortably positioned in the top four, trailing just Manchester City, Arsenal, and Tottenham.
Following an uncertain summer, Salah has had quite the season, and Defoe is really delighted with what he has seen from the forward.
Defoe stated, “Just goal involvements,” when asked what about Salah has impressed him. The bar is raised. Be constant. He is a sportsman. As soon as he enters these regions (the box’s edge). That really is unbelievable.
“How he rolls it through his legs and drags it back” (for Liverpool’s second goal). In the last third, he is quite effective. Isn’t that an incredible thing? That ability. Whoa.
Salah is arguably playing his best football yet for Liverpool
Salah may have really found his game this season, but it’s absurd to imagine that he will perform even better than he does now for Liverpool.
Similar to Goku, who never stops pushing himself to reach new heights, the Egyptian international has overcome his most recent setback to emerge as a truly exceptional player for Liverpool.
And in doing so, the Reds are experiencing their greatest play in a long time, with Salah at the centre of Liverpool’s remarkable Premier League comeback.
