Last night, Ibrahima Konate’s sense of style stunned his Liverpool teammates.
Thus far during his stay at the club, Konate has demonstrated a strong sense of pride in his wardrobe contents. Off the pitch, the Frenchman definitely enjoys dressing the part.
Konate shared a photo from a fashion shoot on his Instagram profile yesterday night, which is the most recent instance of this.
The 24-year-old is wearing a rather striking ensemble. Ibou is posing in what appears to be a beautiful residence, flaunting a red and ecru polo shirt along with matching shorts. It looks bold when paired with long white stockings, elegant black shoes, red-tinted glasses, and red leather gloves.
It appears that Kostas Tsimikas and Curtis Jones agree based on their comments.
Jones commented, “Oh my,” and tagged Tsimikas. “This man is different [sic].” “Different planet,” the Greek affirmed.
Konate proudly displays his clothing
Konate’s attire from last night was probably intended to promote a high-end fashion brand.
Fans might be inclined to criticise Liverpool if they weren’t performing as well as they are on the field.
However, it’s long past time to acknowledge that players today are entire brands rather than just football players.
The fact that these sponsors are picking up Konate is, in a way, excellent news for Liverpool. The Reds can profit more commercially from having players with greater prominence because of this.
Football has evolved, and teams now occasionally take these kinds of factors into account when hiring a new player.
We’re content to simply see Ibou and his Liverpool red comrades every week. However, it’s also encouraging to see that athletes have interests and personalities off the game.
Another one who is frequently spotted showing off his personal sense of style is Jones. The 22-year-old’s most recent Instagram post features a number of pictures of him travelling to Paris while completely clothed in Chanel.
He undoubtedly received a good deal of flak for it in training, and Konate will certainly get his due when he shows up at the AXA today!
