2026 POWER TRIP FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED: RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST, GUNS N’ ROSES & TOOL RETURN FOR THE BIGGEST ROCK EVENT OF THE DECADE — SET DATES AND TIMES REVEALED
Los Angeles, CA – October 23, 2025 — Rock fans, prepare for the ultimate adrenaline rush! The legendary Power Trip Festival is officially returning in July 2026, promising the loudest, wildest, and most iconic weekend of rock music in modern history. After the unforgettable success of its 2023 edition, organizers have confirmed an even more explosive lineup featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Guns N’ Roses, and Tool — six of the most powerful names in rock, sharing one stage across three monumental nights.
The festival will take place from July 10–12, 2026, at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California, the same desert stage that hosted the original Power Trip. This time, however, the event promises a larger-than-life production, expanded fan zones, and a full weekend of immersive rock culture experiences — from art installations and vinyl markets to exclusive acoustic performances and late-night jam sessions.
FRIDAY, JULY 10 – THE FIRE IGNITES
The first night will kick off with Judas Priest setting the stage ablaze at 7:30 PM, celebrating over five decades of heavy metal with their signature ferocity. Then at 9:30 PM, Iron Maiden will take over with a two-hour pyrotechnic spectacle featuring hits like “The Trooper” and “Fear of the Dark.” Expect Eddie, explosions, and an army of fans screaming every lyric under the desert stars.
SATURDAY, JULY 11 – GUITAR GODS AND LEGENDS COLLIDE
Day two belongs to the titans of rock rebellion. Guns N’ Roses will storm the stage at 8 PM with Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan promising an electrifying set packed with classics like “Welcome to the Jungle” and “November Rain.” Closing the night, Metallica will deliver a thunderous performance at 10:30 PM — a full two-hour set spanning from Kill ’Em All to 72 Seasons, along with a few surprises rumored to include guest appearances from fellow festival artists.
SUNDAY, JULY 12 – THE GRAND FINALE
The final night will be a blend of soul, groove, and sonic transcendence. Tool will perform at 8:30 PM, bringing their hypnotic visuals and masterful musicianship to an atmosphere that promises to feel almost spiritual. Then, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will close out the festival at 10:30 PM, uniting generations of fans with a colorful explosion of funk, punk, and rock energy. Expect “Can’t Stop,” “By the Way,” and “Give It Away” — all wrapped in the warmth of their new “Rainbow Tour” visuals.
Early-bird tickets go on sale Friday, November 15, 2025, with full-weekend VIP packages offering backstage access, artist meet-and-greets, and exclusive merchandise.
