🔥 “I’m Not Stupid!” — Collingwood Star Jordan De Goey Stuns AFL World as He Announces His Departure After Months of Ignored Requests, Frustration, and Broken Promises from Club Management — A Shock Exit That Sends Ripples Through Magpies Fans and Teammates Alike 🏉💥

In a stunning turn of events that has rocked the Australian Football League, Collingwood midfielder Jordan De Goey has officially announced his departure from the club — ending weeks of speculation and sparking heated debate among fans, analysts, and former players. The 29-year-old star, known for his explosive athleticism and on-field brilliance, made the announcement in a raw and emotional statement late Thursday night, declaring he had “finally had enough” after repeated requests and concerns were “completely ignored” by Collingwood’s top management.

> “I’m not stupid,” De Goey said bluntly in his video address. “I’ve given everything to this club — my body, my energy, my loyalty — but when your voice isn’t heard anymore, it’s time to walk away. I’ve tried to do things the right way, but sometimes the right way doesn’t work when no one’s listening.”

According to close sources, the rift between De Goey and the club’s hierarchy began months ago, following disagreements over contract clauses, off-season training plans, and internal communication issues. Despite his consistent performances and leadership presence during the 2025 season, insiders claim De Goey grew increasingly frustrated with what he described as a “lack of respect and transparency” from decision-makers inside the club.

Reports suggest De Goey had requested multiple meetings to discuss his long-term role and future direction within the team, but those meetings were either postponed or dismissed. The breaking point, sources say, came after Collingwood allegedly failed to respond to a formal proposal from De Goey’s management team seeking clarity on his position heading into 2026.

Fans flooded social media within minutes of the announcement, expressing disbelief and heartbreak. “Jordan is Collingwood,” one lifelong supporter posted. “He bleeds black and white. This is a massive loss for the club.” Others, however, defended his decision, praising him for standing up for himself and calling out what many describe as “an ongoing communication crisis” within the organization.

Former AFL players have also weighed in on the saga. Commentator and ex-Magpie Dane Swan called it “a sad but predictable end,” saying, “De Goey has always been passionate, sometimes to his own detriment, but he’s also been one of the few willing to speak up when things aren’t right.”

As for what’s next, De Goey didn’t specify his future plans but hinted at “a fresh start” and “a place where honesty still matters.” Several rival clubs, including Carlton and Sydney, are rumored to be monitoring the situation closely, with potential offers already being prepared.

Collingwood released a brief statement early Friday morning, thanking De Goey for his service but declining to comment on the details of his departure.

Whatever happens next, one thing is clear: Jordan De Goey’s exit marks the end of an era — and perhaps the beginning of a new chapter of accountability within the Collingwood Football Club.
