Manager acknowledges loanee from Liverpool isn’t yet ready to play for his team
Calvin Ramsay, a young player from Liverpool, isn’t quite ready to play for Preston North End just yet.
Ramsay, who joined Preston in the summer on a season-long loan, has not yet appeared for the team. Injury has been the 20-year-old’s greatest opponent, just like it was the year before.
However, Ryan Lowe, the manager of North End, stated in an interview with the Lancashire Evening Post that Ramsay might make a visit soon.
“Really, I’m happy for Calvin. Hasn’t he been going through a difficult time? state Lowe. He was on loan to us during the preseason, but something wasn’t quite right. It was then necessary for him to go back and readjust his knee programme.
“He’s beaming broadly and seems to be enjoying himself here,” We want him to play football with competition for as long as he is here. He plays the game well. Without a doubt, it’s good to have him around, and if you ask him, I’m sure he would agree that we need to bring him up to date.
Ramsay’s not quite ready
Ramsay is getting closer to making a comeback and appears content and at ease at Preston, but Lowe also acknowledged that the young player is now “off the pace.”
He remarks, “Until we get him up to speed, I must say he’s a little off the pace.” “But, he’s a very good player once we get him up to speed.” He will, of course, pose a threat.
“He will be trained to become what we want, but if you’re not good in that area, you don’t play for Liverpool or get bought by Liverpool.” You just need to observe how Liverpool’s full backs perform to see that he will be beneficial to us if he can play even close to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s level of play.
For Liverpool fans, it is important to keep in mind Lowe’s final argument. Ramsay was acquired for a purpose, even if he hasn’t been seen much since coming to Anfield in a £6.5 million purchase last summer.
The Scotland international may be able to play right back for Liverpool in the long run, according to reports from Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool coaching staff.
Ramsay needs to play well for the remainder of the Preston season if he is to pull it out.
Ramsay could be in danger at Liverpool if he has one more poor or ineffectual season, especially with players like Conor Bradley lurking in the wings.
Although it may seem unfair, at this point in the game, that’s just the way things work.
Calvin will be aware of this, therefore it’s imperative that he catches up as soon as possible. Cal, you are capable!
