Danny Murphy claims that if Jude Bellingham hadn’t happened, more people would be talking about the Liverpool star.
Danny Murphy has stated that Dominik Szoboszlai is the epitome of success and asserted that if Jude Bellingham hadn’t been in the picture, people would be talking about the Liverpool player far more.
Speaking on the FIVE YouTube channel, Murphy discussed how the Hungarian helped the Reds defeat Nottingham Forest 3-0 over the weekend with two assists.
Danny Murphy is still unsure, though, that he is receiving all the credit he is due. In fact, he implied that the amount of praise the Liverpool player is receiving is influenced by the incredible start Jude Bellingham has made at Real Madrid.
“I must comment on Liverpool because I’ve been astonished by how quickly some players have adjusted. However, I watched the game over the weekend, Szoboszlai. I believe we would be talking about Szoboszlai more if Jude Bellingham hadn’t been doing what he is doing,” he said to FIVE.
I am suggesting that he has made a great start. looking fantastic. And while he is being recognized, everything is about Bellingham since Bellingham has left Earth to see another planet. And we talk about Bellingham a lot, even though I know he’s in a different level. Now that Szoboszlai is here, he has everything. He is a threat, has strong feet, and is an effective defender.
One of Liverpool’s stars over the upcoming ten years
Any midfielder would undoubtedly be in trouble if Bellingham is to be the benchmark. Nobody could have predicted that he would settle into the Bernabeu so quickly.
It is evident that Murphy has a point of view. But it’s obvious that Liverpool supporters are ecstatic about the team’s choice to bring Szoboszlai in during the summer transfer window.
According to Steve Nicol, who spoke with ESPN, Szoboszlai’s form has been “scary.” It’s truly unsettling to consider the potential heights he may achieve in the future.
It was only lately that he turned 23. Thus, it appears that he has no reason not to play a significant role for the Liverpool team for the ensuing ten years.
