Since moving from Bayern Munich to Liverpool this summer, Ryan Gravenberch has made a big impression on Pep Lijnders, the manager of Liverpool.
When questioned by the press about the 21-year-old’s recent performance, the Dutch coach praised his compatriot, saying that he was building a strong case to start on a regular basis.
Despite playing little for Bayern last season, the youthful midfielder joined Liverpool on deadline day and has since shown to be a valuable addition to the team.
Few people anticipated how Gravenberch would adjust to Liverpool, but the midfielder has impressed, and Lijnders is already a huge admirer of the 21-year-old.
“I’m not sure what happened at Bayern,” Lijnders remarked. He comes here with complete trust, and after some training and insightful discussions, we were able to demonstrate to the group as a whole that we have a unique player.
Ryan has all the makings of an eight in that regard—he arrives, shoots, and plays with the mindset of a scorer. I appreciate the scouting and prefer it when the squad has a little more orange on it.
Already, Gravenberch appears to be a great deal for Liverpool.
Ever since he made his breakthrough at Ajax, Gravenberch has been connected to a move to Liverpool. At the age of 21, the midfielder’s pursuit by the Reds appears entirely warranted.
The Dutchman has become an ideal addition to Liverpool, appearing to be the whole package. Gravenberch made an impressive showing against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
The best is still to come for Gravenberch at his early age, and Liverpool should be proud of themselves for working so hard to sign the player this summer.
