5 Steelers’ players likely to be traded by November 5th deadline
Trade speculation and rumors are surrounding Pittsburgh as the trade deadline on November 5th grows ever closer. Here are 5 Steelers’ players who could be traded out of the Steel City.

Speculation and rumors around the trade deadline suggest that Pittsburgh could package any of their WRs, not named George Pickens, in a tradw to acquire a veteran presence at WR. Austin’s athleticism may garner interest from other teams.

Cole Holcomb could be coming off PUP soon, and while the linebacker is extremely talented, trading him may benefit the team more than keeping his talent as a depth piece.

Similarly to Austin, Van Jefferson could be packaged in a trade to acquire a more established veteran player. Jefferson may not demand as much compensation as Austin, but could still be on the way out by the November 5th deadline.
In a similar situation to the linebacker room, the Steelers’ safeties are perhaps the strongest they’ve ever been. Kazee, a veteran presence who can play either safety position, could demand some draft capital as the deadline approaches.

If Pittsburgh cannot financially afford to keep Fields on the team in 2025 and beyond, GM Omar Khan may be wise to create a blockbuster trade so that Pittsburgh can compete for a Super Bowlin the immediate future.
