Tagovailoa has had problems with avoiding head/neck injuries, yet he has looked into how to protect himself better.
Many feel he should hang up the cleats and retire, but the native Hawaiian still wants to play.
Miami had him on injured reserve after his injury versus Buffalo, but he was projected to return by week eight of the season.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network via Underdog NFL, Tagovailoa is trending toward playing Sunday versus the Arizona Cardinals. The Dolphins are 2-4 on the season, but Tagovailoa returned to practice this week. Tyreek Hill, a star receiver for Miami, said it was ‘beautiful’ to have Tagovailoa back. Hill said seeing his guy return to practice almost brought him to tears.
Miami can still push for a playoff opportunity with Tagovailoa’s return, but how effective will he be?
We will see how he looks Sunday.
