Cowboys star Micah Parsons blasts George Pickens for slamming teammate by face mask: ‘Pickens is sick’
Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher Micah Parsons says that Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver George Pickens is ‘sick’ after he slammed down Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis by his face mask at the end of the team’s 20-17 loss.
Pickens did not comment after the game on the incident. Parsons believes the fine Pickens will get for that play will be much worse than anything else that can happen from the situation.
“I saw him getting into it with J-Lew at the end of the game. There was obviously a lot of frustration,” Parsons said. “I was watching that, and I said, ‘This man Pickens is sick.’ You know they are going to hit him with that fine. That fine (is) the worst part.”
Since the game, Pickens has been under fire for many reasons, but head coach Mike Tomlin said the team will continue to work on his behavior, and he feels that Pickens has ‘certainly’ improved in that area. Pittsburgh needs Pickens to play well for the offense to work as intended.
Meanwhile, the team has pursued other superstar wide receiver options like Davante Adams to pair with Pickens, giving them two bonafide star receivers. If the Steelers are going to win against the Las Vegas Raiders and in the future, Pickens will have to continue shining as the team’s top option in the passing game.
