BAD NEWS: Tragic car crash claimed the life of a former Philadelphia Eagles player
Hugh Douglas Jr., the son of former NFL star Hugh Douglas, passed away tragically, and his family and friends are in deep sorrow.
Both Hugh Jr. and Christion Files Jr., two 20-year-olds, lost their lives in a tragic vehicle accident earlier this week. They were at East Point, Georgia, when their car struck a utility pole head-on and overturned as a result.
The victims were Morehouse College housemates.
Both Christion Files Jr. and Hugh Douglas Jr. attended Morehouse College and are expected to graduate in 2025.
The two young men were well-known for their devotion to extracurricular activities and academics.
While Christion Files Jr., Hugh Jr.’s roommate, studied in business administration with a focus in marketing and participated in the Morehouse Track & Field team, Hugh Jr. pursued a major in business administration with a specialty in finance.
Dad is upset about his son.
Hugh Douglas Sr. was a former NFL standout who played for the New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, and Jacksonville Jaguars during his ten-year career. He was severely touched by the tragedy.
