Grayson Alllen leads the evenly matched Suns with 24 points, winning 123-113.
PHOENIX (AP) – With 22 points from Kevin points from Grayson Allen, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 123-113 on SDurant and 24unday in the latter part of the fourth quarter.
There were three minutes remaining when Allen and Royce O’Neale made 3-pointers on consecutive possessions to put the Suns up 116-104. Jusuf Nurkic contributed seven assists, 22 rebounds, and 18 points.
Late in the first quarter, the Lakers were behind by 20 points; but, by the end of the third quarter, they had narrowed the gap to 92-90. Phoenix answered with six straight points, and they never fell behind in the fourth.
LeBron James scored 28 points on 12 of 19 shots, dished out 12 assists, and led the Lakers. Anthony Davis finished with 14 rebounds and 22 points.
At least 20 points were scored by four Phoenix starters, while the Suns dominated the glass 51–34. O’Neale added 20 points, while Devin Booker scored 21. Bol Bol scored 11 points off the bench in 24 minutes.

Philadelphia, PA (AP) – In Doc Rivers’ return to Philadelphia, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points, Damian Lillard added 24, and Milwaukee prevailed.
Following the previous season, Philadelphia dismissed Rivers. From 2020 to 2023, he was the 76ers’ coach. He never advanced past the second round of the playoffs, and Sunday was his 12th game in Milwaukee since he took over.
In addition, Antetokounmpo had nine assists and 12 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 24 points. Following Joel Embiid’s injury to his left knee, the reigning MVP, they have lost eight of their last 12 games.
