Breaking: Darvin Ham updates the Lakers on LeBron James’s status for Tuesday’s game
MEMPHIS HARMONIES
In the head coach Darvin Ham’s update on the injured LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Memphis Grizzlies in their In-Season Tournament home opening on Tuesday.
James was listed as questionable to play the entire day due to his left calf contusion, which kept him out of the game on Sunday.
James’s injury makes him a true game-time decision, according to Ham, who recently talked with media. He’ll do his pregame ritual as normal and then decide whether or not to play.
On Sunday, Austin Reaves was benched and Cam Reddish and Rui Hachimura started in lieu of James and Austin Reaves.
These two should start alongside Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, and Taurean Prince if James is unable to play.
In the In-Season Tournament, the Lakers are 1-0 and would love to defeat the Grizzlies, who are 0-2, to get to 2-0.
