Injured LeBron James Talks With Hall of Fame Former Teammate During Blazers Game
The Los Angeles Lakers, who are without LeBron James, defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 116-110 on Sunday night to increase their winning run to two games.
In the absence of their top scorer, the Lakers advanced to.500, and the victory was crucial for them to maintain their home winning record. Their other leader, center Anthony Davis, had to lead the club in this endeavor. With AD leading the way with 30 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks, the Lakers won the game.
Without their fearless commander, LA looked to The Brow to lead the way, and he did. On the sidelines, James offered his colleagues encouragement and advice, but he was also spotted chatting with his best friend and former championship partner, Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade, who is inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Wade and James were colleagues for four seasons in Miami, and they will go down in history as probably the best team this game has ever seen.
James’ support of his teammates was admirable, and we hope to see him there on Tuesday night when the Purple and Gold play their second in-season tournament game of the year against the Memphis Grizzlies.
