49ers: Kyle Shanahan gets honest on Brock Purdy’s Brandon Aiyuk TD pass vs. Jaguars..
Sunday afternoon, Brock Purdy and the San Francisco Cardinals got back on the winning side with a huge road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing for the 49ers entering the contest, as the team had lost three straight games before last week’s bye; However, the team looked rejuvenated Sunday against Jacksonville, as Purdy turned in one of his most impressive performances of the season in the big win.
The first touchdown pass Purdy threw against the Jaguars came about four minutes into the game, when he threw what was essentially a jump ball into a sea of Jacksonville and San Francisco players in the back zone end of the yard.
In the end, it was 49ers receiver Brandon Aiyuk who recovered the ball to give his team a touchdown; Still, that didn’t stop 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan from being brutally honest about Purdy’s decision to throw that ball after the game.
