A £22 million goal for Liverpool is ready for a January Premier League move.
Gabriel Moscardo, a rumoured target for Liverpool, is expected to join the Premier League in January after leaving Corinthians.
This week, Moscardo has been associated with Liverpool as the likelihood of the Reds acquiring fellow Brazilian Andre Trindade decreases.
Not only is Liverpool interested, but journalist Fabrizio Romano stated yesterday night on his YouTube channel that the 18-year-old is probably going to England.
“Pay close attention to Gabriel Moscardo, a gifted midfielder who plays for Corinthians. He was born in 2005 and is a very good player,” advises Romano. At the end of August, Chelsea had a verbal proposal rejected.
“Now, from what I’m hearing—despite a lot of reports about Barcelona—they can’t afford to pay €25 million [£22 million], plus add-ons to Corinthians for Moscardo because of financial fair play; that’s why the deal is complex. Although Barca values him greatly, they are not ready to commit that much capital in January.
“January is my choice since, based on what I’ve heard, Moscardo is supposed to transfer in January rather than during the summer. will depart Corinthians in January, despite the interest of major Premier League teams in signing him. Watch the Premier League closely for this young man. It’s challenging for Barcelona, but English teams may have a huge opportunity.
Moscardo expected to join the Premier League
Naturally, it appears that Liverpool isn’t now leading this specific race.
Chelsea might have the advantage because they supposedly already had communication with Corinthians during the summer.
Nevertheless, Moscardo’s previous rejection of Chelsea cannot be disregarded. Furthermore, the Blues aren’t exactly the most reliable team at the moment.
The youthful midfield player may be able to quickly advance into the first team at Liverpool. Perhaps that will be the motivation the eighteen-year-old needs.
Seeing teams like Chelsea snatch up exceptional young players from Brazil and the rest of South America has been a touch irritating over the past year or so. Liverpool is lagging behind in this regard.
But now that Federico Redondo of Argentina Juniors and Andre have also been connected, the Reds appear to be waking up. In light of this, the Reds ought to pursue Moscardo even if they are unable to give him a clear route to the squad right now.
It’s obvious that he wants to transfer to England, and the cost is well worth the risk.
There’s no reason Liverpool can’t enter this competition if they believe there’s even a remote possibility Moscardo will soon debut for them.
