It makes sense that United has not had a great start to the season, but even though they have been playing awful, the team does not seem to be reacting. Internal issues and the subpar play of numerous players have made Man U a terrible team, and even though they have been spending a lot of money on recruitment, this does not look good.
While things are looking better and better at Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp has been able to take his team from less to more, taking advantage of all circumstances in their favour, and leaving him with a solid and balanced team. Man U, despite having a very strong squad, are in eighth place with twelve goals scored and sixteen conceded.
Apart from the fact that players like Darwin Nunez are enjoying their season despite a few setbacks, this does not deter the Uruguayan from striving to show off his elite skills. Nunez has scored seven goals and provided four assists in all competitions while playing for the Reds at Anfield; when you add in his two assists and two goals for the Uruguay national team, Nunez leaves Man U in shame.
Nunez continues to demonstrate his world class play by humiliating a major team. Nunez would also be far superior to all of their strikers despite being more expensive. As Manchester United have only managed to score 12 goals, Nunez has a total of 15 goalscoring contributions with his national team and at Anfield, putting Manchester United to shame.
Darwin Nunez is considerably superior to many and is getting better.
Nunez’s outstanding qualities this season were demonstrated in the game against Newcastle. A few games ago, there were enough questions raised about his minimal or nonexistent participation. Now, however, the Charrúa is demonstrating his dedication to the team and is among the best in the Premier League, as evidenced by his numbers, which put him well ahead of every striker for Manchester United, including Brazilian Antony, Jodan Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Højlund, and even his own countryman Facundo Pellistri.
