Yesterday, Darwin Nunez was taken aback by his Liverpool’s teammate Alexis Mac Allister’s new hairstyle.
After the Argentine arrived at Anfield this summer, Nunez and Mac Allister grew close.Even more recently, Jurgen Klopp disclosed that the former Brighton player has been assisting his Uruguayan colleague by translating.
And based on their exchange on Instagram yesterday, which was tweeted by Anything Liverpool, it appears that they enjoy making light of one other.
Possibly feeling fairly good about himself, Mac Allister had uploaded a video of a new trim to his account.
But Darwin, ever the prankster, pulled him back to reality.
“What a cute baby hehe,” the striker commented. “What is happening? “Do you miss me?” asked Liverpool’s number ten. Complete.
Nunez and Mac Allister’s friendship deepens
It’s wonderful to see that the camaraderie among the Liverpool team has restored after a miserable campaign the previous year.
How people like Nunez and Mac Allister were exactly what we needed. The two players, both 24 years old, should be seen as a duo that can guide and create a new culture inside the team for many years to come.
Naturally, the wise old heads are still around. Players like Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker, and Virgil van Dijk are not done yet.
However, the squad’s average age has decreased due to a number of acquisitions made in recent years. Nunez and Mac Allister are now part of a sizable group of guys who are all roughly the same age.

Hopefully, that will create a sense of camaraderie among the players, much as it did with Klopp’s first outstanding Liverpool squad.
However, it appears like Nunez is the one who is discussing haircuts. Not everyone like the instantly unmistakable man-bun he sports.
We will, however, pardon him because we enjoy seeing the players have a little fun with one another!
