Valentin Barco, a teenager for Boca Juniors, has garnered praise from Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentine fullback is apparently attracting interest from Liverpool.
The 19-year-old defender, Barco, is reportedly a target for Liverpool and Manchester City as well. The Anfield midfielder gave the 19-year-old defensive player high marks in an interview with Dataref.
Many consider the left-back to be one of South America’s most promising possibilities; according to 90min, Barco has a release clause of under £8 million.
Mac Allister is also a huge admirer of Barco, as the midfielder for Liverpool stated of the player: “I had the opportunity to see him and I’m not saying anything new when I say he’s a great player.”
“He is really skilled, and even if it appears like the opposition would steal the ball from him, no one can take it away from him. Since he is still young, we must proceed cautiously.
“I observe him to be quite focused, despite the fact that he occasionally overthrows on the pitch. He has the potential to play a significant role for our nation and effectively represent it in Europe.
Mac Allister’s commendation of Barco needs to motivate Liverpool to act.

It should come as no surprise that Liverpool is interested in signing Barco, one of South America’s most promising talents who might eventually replace Andy Robertson.
And now that Mac Allister has praised the young player, the Reds need to get Barco, who has the potential to be a spectacular long-term addition to the team, on their roster.
Undoubtedly, the competition to acquire Barco may be fierce in January, and Liverpool must be motivated by Mac Allister’s remarks to acquire the defender before teams like City.
