Harvey Elliott, a midfielder for Liverpool, assisted Luis Diaz clinch a point for the Reds away against Luton Town. Tyler Morton praised Elliott on Instagram.
The 21-year-old midfielder took to social media to commend the England youth international, calling him a “game changer” after Elliott once again had a good impact on the match from the bench.
Elliott was brought in with little over 20 minutes remaining in Liverpool’s match against Luton, as the team was losing badly and appeared to be struggling throughout.
But the 20-year-old midfielder altered the course of the match once more from the bench as Elliott’s excellent cross set up Diaz’s late goal, which the Colombian international headed in.
Elliott did, in fact, have a similar effect against Everton last month despite entering the game as a substitute, and his expanding role might turn into a true weapon for Liverpool.
Elliott is quickly emerging as Liverpool’s new super-sub

Super-subs are nothing new for Liverpool, with Divock Origi possibly being the most well-known in recent years.
Elliott is now gradually developing into a similar player, and it is getting harder to dismiss the midfielder’s influence when he comes off the bench.
Although Elliott would prefer to start right away, few teams can afford his role as a game-changer from the wings, therefore Liverpool must make the most of the young player they currently have.
