Your Los Angeles Lakers lost 120-101 to the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
LA never really got going after a crazy first quarter in which the Magic outscored them 39-25.
Even though the Lakers were without forwards Taurean Prince, Rui Hachimura and Jarred Vanderbilt, they couldn’t use injuries as an excuse, as the Magic were missing point guard Markelle Fultz, starting center Wendell Carter Jr.
and reserve shooting guard Key.

Speaking after the match, Los Angeles head coach Darvin Ham credited the Magic’s courage and agility in securing the victory, despite their absence, writes Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times.
“Just their effort,” Ham said.
“Their energy.
They were down.
We were down.
And so the game basically started shifting to an approach, a mental approach,” Ham said.
“Their energy, their effort, they surpassed us.
And with that energy and effort, they saw the ball go into the net.
They did a great job of playing fast and consistently, supporting each other defensively and just hitting our glass.
Orlando dominated Los Angeles 51-40.
