Eberechi Eze, a player for Crystal Palace, discussed Mohamed Salah, a winger for Liverpool, and his dribbling skills.
Salah is regarded by many as one of the best dribblers in the world, if not the Premier League. The 31-year-old is still possibly a little bit underappreciated in this regard, though.
When Eze and the Sky Sports Premier League play a game of “Higher or Lower” today, he provides an explanation of this.
When asked if he thought Salah was worth more or less than Bernardo Silva of Manchester City in the upcoming EAFC match, Eze had to consider.
“I will say lower,” the 25-year-old made up his mind. Unexpectedly, Liverpool’s No. 11 is rated 88 at dribbling, with Silva ahead on 92.
“Good, still very good and he is good at dribbling, so it’s fair,” Eze says of Salah.
Salah is outscored by Silva.
Although there may be differing opinions among the larger football community, we don’t really agree with this.
Call us prejudiced, but we fail to see any real-world advantages that Silva has over Salah.
The Portugal international joined City for £43 million in 2017, and since then, he has won numerous times. But rather than being a unique player on his own, he is a working component of a fantastic system.
Again, some may disagree, and this may not even show off his dribbling skills, but it’s intriguing to compare Salah and Silva because they joined their respective teams at the same time.
In the roughly six years that have passed since then, Mo has helped Liverpool score 196 goals and provide 76 assists.
In contrast, Silva has 50 assists and 56 points.
The Portuguese has, however, assisted his team in winning numerous more titles while he has been in England. However, Salah far surpasses him in terms of personal contribution.
Once more, that doesn’t truly show off their unique dribbling talent. However, we believe that in every game segment when Mo and Bernardo face off, Mo will prevail. And it’s not even close.
