Eberechi Eze, a midfielder for Crystal Palace, shared his opinions about Darwin Nunez, a striker for Liverpool.
Nunez has scored seven goals in his first season with Liverpool and has usually looked like a man reborn.
However, not everyone is a fan of the Uruguayan, with many people outside of the team criticising some elements of his style. Eze also claims that this may be the reason why Nunez’s shot in particular isn’t given enough credit.
Taking part in the Sky Sports Premier League game “Higher or Lower,” Eze is asked if he believes Nunez’s shooting in the new EAFC video game is better or worse than Marcus Rashford’s.
Eze answers right, “Lower,” given that Rashford is rated 86 and the Liverpool player 81. When asked to rate Nunez and Calum Wilson of Newcastle United, the England midfielder believes Wilson should be rated higher, which he is at 82. When asked if he believes that his England teammate has been underrated, he suggests that the No. 9 for Liverpool has as well.
“81’s a bit low for Darwin,” says the 25-year-old. “I don’t know what [rating] I’d give him, but I think 81, 82 for these guys…”
Eze rates Nunez’s shooting
It’s reasonable to conclude that Nunez is underrated in the larger football community for almost everything he accomplishes.
Fans all throughout the country view Darwin as a bit of a clown, as evidenced by the ironic jeers from the Bournemouth supporters on Wednesday night after the 24-year-old mishandled a pass.
The score was made more sweeter by the fact that he answered the jeers with a spectacular strike into the top corner.
It also demonstrated that Liverpool supporters are beginning to realise that, despite what others may think of him, this man is truly unique.

Darwin’s shooting may not always be precise or clean, but once it is, it cannot be stopped.
Nunez doesn’t necessarily need to put in flawless attempts on goal because he has an inherent talent to generate opportunities for himself.
Even if he misses one, it’s likely that he’ll get another opportunity soon enough. He will almost certainly bury the next one.
Even though Nunez isn’t always well-liked by everyone, it doesn’t really matter. Players such as Eze recognise his abilities, and the Anfield supporters genuinely love him. Eventually, everyone else will realise how exceptional he is. It is going to be too late for their own teams.
