32-year-old Liverpool player, according to Jurgen Klopp, won’t be playing in 2023.
Thiago Alcantara will be out of the Liverpool team for the remainder of the season, according to Jurgen Klopp.
The 32-year-old had surgery over the summer to address a hip condition, and he hasn’t played a minute for the Reds this season.
When Thiago will return to play has been a question for supporters, and Klopp finally answered it during his pre-Luton Town press conference today. The prognosis is disappointing, but the clarity is good.
The manager of Liverpool stated, “Thiago is slightly different; it’s an ongoing thing and we cannot put any pressure on that as well.”
However, we anticipate his return sometime in the new year. Since it’s now November, four more weeks should be possible. To be honest, I’m eager for him to return because he’s that good.
“But since there won’t be much change right now, we can’t have an update on a weekly basis.”
Thiago is expected back in January.
We can only hope that Klopp’s most recent report contains an exact comeback date for Thiago.
We have already experienced a few false dawns this season. By the international breaks in September and October, the Spain international was expected to return.
We can at least look forward to Thiago comeback now that we have some certainty on a timeline.
We can’t wait to see him play in Liverpool’s revamped midfield in 2024, provided there are no more issues.

After that, Thiago will probably be playing his last few months as a Liverpool player. How annoying these past few years have been.
However, the former Bayern Munich player might still make a huge impact if he is healthy and available from that point until the end of the season.
Thiago is unquestionably good despite his ailments. It’s unclear what condition Liverpool will be in when he returns, but the Spain international’s tenure at the team might come to an amazing conclusion.
Like Klopp, we’re eager to see him back in action, so let’s hope so.
