Next year, Liverpool can sign (Fabrizio Romano,) a 25-year-old reputed target, for just £52 million.
Dani Olmo, who is reportedly Liverpool’s target, may be available for just £52 million next year.
The Reds reportedly scouted Olmo last season in an effort to learn more about former RB Leipzig teammate Dominik Szoboszlai, according to 90min.
Despite appearing prepared to leave the Bundesliga in the summer, the 25-year-old Leipzig player chose to stay.
However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, things for Olmo might be different the following year. Romano restates in his writing for the Daily Briefing today that the Spain international should be available for purchase in 2024 if there is an active release clause.
The transfer specialist states, “As I reported at the beginning of June, there’s a release clause for €60m [£52m] starting from 2024; it was not available this summer.”
“He may leave next summer, but that’s not a given at this point because it’s too soon, and he’s injured right now.”
Olmo on the market next year
Liverpool will be exploring the forward market as they prepare for the possibility of needing to replace Mohamed Salah.
Without a doubt, a variety of players will be taken into consideration, and Olmo ought to be among them.
For many years, the Spaniard has been among the most promising young attackers. He appears ready to go on to the next phase of his career at 25.
Liverpool will have a difficult time finding greater quality for £52 million.
There are a few problems with this possible signing, though. The primary one is that Olmo typically plays forward on the left side for Leipzig.
He wouldn’t be Salah’s obvious heir because he is right-footed, which is something Liverpool could really use. The Reds will require a left-footer unless they intend to alter their lineup in the event that Mo departs.
Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Diogo Jota, and Luis Diaz are all excellent left-wing alternatives, so Liverpool doesn’t really need another one. Olmo is not as prolific as the entire group.
However, the former Dinamo Zagreb young player will undoubtedly appeal to the Reds in one way or another given the price. They also enjoy a wonderful relationship with Leipzig. This is one to monitor in 2024.
