Online leaks have shown the second shirt from the Liverpool x LeBron James partnership. The eye-catching black, grey, teal, and gold design features a YNWA “sponsor” on it.
As a shareholder in the team and a partner in their ownership group, LeBron has a long-standing relationship with Liverpool and Fenway Sports Group. Last year, Nike introduced a collaborative line.
One of their lifestyle items was a limited-edition Liverpool shirt, whose striking pattern caused controversy among fans.
This has persisted into 2023–2024, when Footy Headlines published the initial sketches of the upcoming Liverpool x LeBron collaboration shirt.
Black, “washed teal,” and “truly gold” hues make up the “stylish colorway” that was originally shown on the trustworthy kit website.
The present home shirt’s template is used by designer @lfcdzn11 to create an example of how the shirt would seem, but with significantly different features.
The standard Chartered sponsor has been replaced with YNWA in dazzling gold, and the typical Nike swoosh has been replaced with the LeBron logo.
The crew-neck collar and cuffs have teal accents, while the main portion of the jersey will have a black and grey patchwork pattern with the LFC and LeBron logos and the phrases “YNWA” and “Strive for Greatness.”
In addition, @lfcdzn11 created a mockup of Mo Salah donning the limited edition shirt, which will not be worn at any Liverpool academy, women’s, or first team matches.
The new Liverpool x LeBron collection is anticipated to go on sale in the beginning of 2024, with an official launch scheduled for the near future.
