Jaguars Head Coach Shares His Goals Following Impressive Start
The Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and Kansas City Chiefs are the conversation of the town, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are quietly enjoying a 6-2 record.
It also doesn’t appear to be a fluke at all since Doug Pederson’s club has won the majority of its games by a wide margin.
In response to a question about their outstanding start, Pederson stated that the squad struggled to get going early in the season and that he is not shocked by their record thus far (via Michael DiRocco).
He said that his guys believed they could accomplish something similar.
Before the season began, some analysts ranked the Jaguars as one of the biggest dark horses to emerge from the AFC, and they have so far lived up to those predictions.
The Jaguars are the only team in the league without a loss after four away games this season.
One may argue that they are 5-0 away from home because they also triumphed in a game played at home in London.
Their only losses came in a close game against a desperate Chiefs team and an unexpected setback to division rival Houston Texans.
For the Jaguars, the rest of the schedule is rather favorable.
Watch out for Pederson’s squad in the postseason as well, as they appear ready to waltz to another division title.
