Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has made six changes to his starting line-up for tonight’s Carabao Cup fourth round tie with West Ham United.
The Gunners are currently on a two-match winning streak after losing 5-0 in the Premier League to Sheffield United at Emirates Stadium.
They will aim to extend their run against the Hammers to secure their fourth Carabao Cup quarter-final in six seasons.
Before the match, Arteta decided to make six changes to the squad.
Aaron Ramsdale was back in goal for the first time since the third round away to Brentford.
In the central defender position, Gabriel Magalhaes was returned to the starting lineup after having to sit on the bench last weekend.
He has come in for William Saliba and will partner Jakub Kiwior.
Jorginho will start as the holding midfield today with Declan Rice on the bench.
The other change in midfield sees Fabio Vieira getting the nod over Emile Smith RoweFurther forward, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have been handed breathers with Reiss Nelson and Leandro Trossard starting out wide.
Eddie Nketiah leads the attack.
Confirmed Arsenal line-up (4-3-3): Ramsdale; White, Kiwior, Magalhaes, Zinchenko; Jorginho, Havertz, Vieira; Nelson, Nketiah, Trossard.Arteta was always expected to ring in the changes for the League Cup tie, but we are surprised with Martin Odegaard being left out of the XI for the second game running.
